The patented Microcapper MCF-13 automates the attaching of screw caps on microtubes. It increases lab productivity, occupational health & safety and process integrity.

Consistent tightening of the caps is ensured to prevent leakage during transportation. The MCF-13 reduces operator’s hand fatigue and relieves the tedious task of hand capping. It is known that hazards such as carpal tunnel syndrome can result from the repetitive strain of manually tightening screw caps, making mechanical capping important.

Designed for capping of crew caps on 13mm tubes typically used in laboratories for the preparation and processing of samples and reagents, the MCF-13 can be customised for various cap, vial and tube sizes. The bench top device is compact, a footprint of less than half A4, and portable.

This tube sealing machine is user friendly and can be operated with minimum training. Caps for the microtubes are poured into a feeder. Capping is done by inserting a microtube into tube-holder, and pushing it up to capping position and lowering again with attached cap.
