Powder Dosing System
The bench-top Solids Dispenser SDB-1C / SDB-2C can dose calibrated Volumetric as well as Gravimetric doses of solids in a highly precise and repeatable fashion. It combines the high speed in Volumetric mode (2.0 – 3.0 sec. per dose, independent of dose size) with the high dose size flexibility in Gravimetric mode. In volumetric dosing it can perform automated weighting for quality management purposes. Dose weight data are saved as digital records on SD memory card and can be transferred to a PC.
The dosing mechanism of the SDB-1C is based on the SDB-1 dispenser model, while the SDB-2C is based on the much larger SDB-2. Functionally, both models are equivalent.
Due to its compact benchtop configuration the SDB-1C / SDB-2C is easy to integrate in the workflow and alleviates tedious repetitive tasks. The dosing heads are interchangeable to enable running several materials with different dose size and no cross-contamination.
A large dosing head on the SDB-1C can dose from 2 mg up to 8 g and multiples; the range for a small dosing head is from 2 mg up to 300 mg in a single shot, or higher for incremental dosing. The SDB-2C can dose up to 40g in single shot (depending on bulk density of materials).
A touch screen controller allows easy operation of the equipment as well as viewing of dosing data. The SDB-1C / SDB-2C is powered from the AC socket; 115V/230V switching power supply.
