Powder Dosing System

The bench-top automatic Solids Dispenser SDB-1 can dispense calibrated volumetric doses (and multiples) of powders in a highly precise and repeatable fashion.

The laboratory dosing solution increases lab productivity and ensures at the same time process accuracy. Compared to other techniques the volumetric solids dispensing is particularly fast (2.5-3.5sec. per dose). Due to its compact benchtop configuration the SDB-1 is easy to integrate in the workflow and alleviates tedious repetitive tasks .

The dispensing heads are interchangeable to enable quick processing of several materials with different dose size and no cross-contamination without cleaning steps. A small dispensing head can be calibrated to doses from 2.5mg up to 300mg in a single shot, or higher for incremental dispensing. A large dispensing head can be calibrated to doses from 5 mg up to 7grams and multiples. There is also a continuous mode for processes like blending.

An LED display indicates the number of doses dispensed. The SDB-1 is powered from the AC socket, 115V/230V switching .

Dosing System

X-Y table for 96-well plates maneuver

Operator may operate the optionally available  X-Y table by means of sliding (in, out & left, right) to direct each dispense into well plate. The SDB-1R has an automated, motorised version of it.

The X-Y table is a removable attachment, so SDB-1 can be used for normal dispensing into other mediums such as vials or tubes.
